Missouri actor Blake Walker

Well in this show I am Floyd Spinner the I.R.S. man.

“LOVE, SEX & the IRS”
at the God & Country Theatre Jon and Leslie (both men) have been roommates for years and always struggling to make ends meet in the 1970’s. Jon decides the best way to save some cash is to file their taxes as married. The only problem is the IRS notices and plans to pay a visit. To keep from going to prison, Jon concocts a harebrained idea. If that isn’t bad enough, Jon’...s fiancé is in love with Leslie and Connie is in love with him too. To top it off, Jon’s mother comes unexpectedly to help plan the wedding while a pushy, tipsy apartment manager is searching for ways to throw Jon and Leslie out. It’s a zany sitcom brought to life and sure to make you want to see it a second time!

"A Christmas Snow Live"

11/2/2011 - Only our third performance and I feel the cast already starting to gel. Today I worked on a magical prop for the show which appears in the "smore" scene, so be sure to look for that when you see the show. Tonight I had a chance to sneak out into the audience and see the rest of the show, after I am finished. I could hardly believe I was holding back tears, anyway very moving perfomance. Muse and Catherine's scene is very emotional. I am a sucker for that stuff anyway. I wish I could have seen the very end but I had to race around the building for my curtain call. We had a big crowd maybe 450 or more, and another standing ovation. I will keep you posted. -blakew

11/11/2011 - Tonight the "Redneck Tenors" came by to see the show, so the director Tracy J. Trost put them in the resturant scene, singing as table side entertainment for Cameron, Catherine and I. The audience seemed to enjoy it. I have magic shows this weekend in Illinois so Jim Ellis will be playing my part Sat.and Sun. thank you Jim. We are dark on Mondays I will be back in on Tues. I am loving the experience. I also really love all of the cast and crew. Over 550 tonight!

11/26/2011 - Sitting backstage waiting to go out for curtin call. Tonight my mom and sister and their family's are coming to the 8pm show. It has been great to have them in town this week. The shows are going well and I am loving this experience.

12/01/2011 -No excuse if you haven't seen it December is here, 31 shows down 45 to go. The time is flying by. I hope everyone of my Branson friends come out and see me the local rate is a steal.

12/05/2011 - Dark day today half way to the finish on Dec. 30th. We have performed 38 shows and have 38 shows to go.

12/15/2011 - Merry Christmas everyone! Only 23 more chances to see the show. We drew for our secret Santa gift exchange for the cast and crew. I would say who I got but...they don't call it secret Santa for nothin'. So I will tell you more on that later. I am pretty sure the show is coming back for 2012, I hope so. The director Tracy J. Trost has a very inspiring pod cast every Thursday called Life, Love and the movies. You can hear them at your leisure at: www.lifeloveandthemovies.com

12/28/11 - Just four shows left this season, the time has flown by. I really have had a wonderful time making new friends and working on this project. I sure hope to get to perform again with all of the cast crew and production staff. I am pretty sure they are going to try to bring back the show in 2012. What a terrific experience for me personally.

12/30/11 - Well it's all over but the crying. We just finished with the run of "A Christmas Snow". I had a wonderful time and met some super cool friends. I hope to work with everyone again in the future. Thank you to the cast, crew, and production staff. I love you people.
